Josh is a Reedsville Wrestling Alumni. He wrestled through the programs from second grade through his senior year of high school. He placed 3rd at the Wisconsin State Tournament in 2010.
Josh was the middle school coach from 2013 - 2019. He came up with the idea for a Cubs program in 2022 because he wanted to provide younger kids the opportunity to learn all about wrestling without the pressure of competing in events.
He lives in Reedsville with his wife Carley and children Asher, Kynsley, and Brooks.
